In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in keeping the sales process up and running by means of tracking orders, invoices, and pricing changes - all while working closely with other departments to ensure excellent customer service. As a Sales Support Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of the sales department, handling critical administrative tasks and contributing to excellent customer service together with the team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately collecting and organizing customer orders for prototypes.
  • Setting up and managing databases for orders, shipments and transport documents.
  • Working closely with Customer Service to handle invoice requests and overdue payments to ensure the processes run smoothly.
  • Create and maintain detailed modification records to ensure the organization is well informed about upcoming changes.
  • Managing customer portal access and retrieving important data from accounts, quality standards, and engineering standards.
  • Gathering and updating forecast data from customer portals for Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Creating credit notes and tracking any follow-up actions on customer accounts
  • Assisting and contributing to price adjustments in order to manage currency and material cost changes.
  • Keeping customer information up-to-date in systems like SAP.
  • Reviewing contracts to ensure they’re compliant and providing feedback to Account Managers as needed.

Wie ben jij?

You're the right fit for this role if you are:

  • Already experienced – You have 0 -2 year experience in an administrative or sales support role, preferably in an international work setting.
  • Comfortable with tech – You are knowledgeable about MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and preferably SAP.
  • Organized and detail-oriented – You have an organized style of working and you are detailed.
  • A strong communicator -  You are able to express yourself effectively in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experienced in database management – You are experienced in database management and work well-organized.
  • Team-oriented – You are able to work collaboratively with multiple departments  and clients.
  • Proactive and resourceful – You have a proactive nature and see tasks through to completion.
