What are you going to do?

As a Work Planner / Planner, you bear a great deal of responsibility in the production process. You ensure that all supplies are available on time and that production can run optimally. You are constantly planning, organising and coordinating work and materials, working closely with the small, close-knit engineering department. You also liaise with production to ensure deadlines are met and quality is maintained. Your main tasks are:

  • Preparing and planning production activities based on input from engineering.
  • Ordering and coordinating materials and resources needed in the production process.
  • Drawing up work schedules and monitoring the progress of productions.
  • Coordinating with production and engineering on project statuses and any bottlenecks.
  • Identifying areas for improvement within the production process and contributing to a more efficient workflow.
  • In short, a versatile role in which you contribute daily to the success of our client!

Who are you?

For this role, our client is looking for an accurate and communicative team player who enjoys a dynamic working environment. Do you recognise yourself in the following points?

  • You have at least a completed MBO education, preferably in the field of mechanical engineering, technical business administration, or similar.
  • Experience in a similar role in work preparation or planning is a strong plus.
  • You are solution-oriented, can switch quickly and keep an overview, even when working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You have good communication skills and can easily switch between different departments.
  • Experience with planning software and ERP systems is a plus.
  • You are available 40 hours a week and live in the Ulft region. 32 hours is negotiable.
