What are you going to do?
As Team Leader Welding Department, you are the driving force behind a team of driven welders. You will monitor production progress, ensure high-quality welding results and optimise processes. Thanks to your technical knowledge and leadership skills, you will lift the department to a higher level.
Your responsibilities:
- Leading the welding team - You coach, motivate and supervise welders so that they deliver professional work.
- Planning and work distribution - You ensure an efficient daily schedule and keep an overview of the tasks.
- Quality control - You control the welding processes and ensure the highest standards.
- Process optimisation - You think along about improvements and implement more efficient working methods.
- Reporting - You keep the Operations Manager informed of performance and areas for improvement.
Who are you?
- Technical education - At least a completed mbo education in engineering, preferably with specialisation in welding.
- Leadership experience - Minimum 3 years' experience as a manager in a production environment.
- Welding expertise - Knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG welding, is a must.
- Communication skills - You know how to motivate a team and give clear instructions.
- Solution and result-oriented - You see opportunities, solve problems quickly and keep the end goal in mind.
- Language skills - You are fluent in Dutch and English.
