What are you going to do?
In your role as Lead Engineer, you are responsible for the entire technical process of challenging, customer-specific projects. You are the one who keeps the overview and motivates your team of engineers to work together towards a perfect end result. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and supervising a team of engineers (mechanical, electrical and software).
- Developing and delivering a complete technical dossier, including 3D designs, detailed drawings and documentation.
- Monitoring deadlines, budgets and technical specifications.
- Actively thinking along during project meetings on product and process improvements.
- Regularly interacting with international customers and internal stakeholders.
- Driving continuous innovation and optimisation of both product and processes.
Who are you?
You are a true techie with a keen eye for detail and a helicopter view. You also have strong communication skills and know how to inspire and motivate a team. This is what you bring with you:
- A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design Engineering.
- At least 3 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in a technical project environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and a great sense of responsibility.
- You are decisive and always keep the interests of both the client and the organisation in balance.
- A good command of the English language; knowledge of German is an advantage.
