What are you going to do?
As a construction bench welder, you are responsible for independently assembling, welding and finishing metal structures from drawings. You ensure that each product is manufactured accurately and according to specifications. In addition, you will work closely with colleagues and contribute to solutions for technical challenges. These are your main tasks:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Independent assembly of metal structures and components.
- Performing welding work (MIG/MAG).
- Checking work for quality and dimensions.
- Maintaining your workplace and tools to ensure a safe working environment.
- Working with colleagues in the workshop to successfully complete projects.
Who are you?
For this position, we are looking for a construction bench welder who values quality and likes to roll up his sleeves to complete beautiful projects. Do you recognise yourself in the following points?
- Experience as a construction bench welder.
- In possession of at least a mig-mag 2 welding diploma.
- Skilled in reading technical drawings.
- Proactive, independent, but also a real team player.
- Flexible and willing to do varied work.
- In possession of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain one.
- Living in the Doetinchem area.
