What are you going to do?
As an All-round Sheet Metal Worker, you will learn to work with various sheet materials such as zinc, copper, plastisol and aluminium. You will be trained to become an expert in cutting, setting and programming these materials. You will also learn to enter CNC programmes and operate machines. No two days are the same, as you work on different projects, from custom-made solutions to serial work. Naturally, you will do this under the guidance of experienced professionals who will teach you all the tricks of the trade.
Your tasks at a glance:
✅ Processing and forming of sheet materials (zinc, copper, plastisol, aluminium)
✅ Preparing and carrying out sheet-metal work
✅ Entering CNC programmes and operating machines
✅ Inventory management of sheets - you make sure that everything runs smoothly!
✅ Working on challenging projects and getting better at your job
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with motivation and an interest in engineering. Experience is not necessary-you are here to learn the trade!
- You are following or want to start the BBL training All-round Sheet Metal Worker/Production technology
- You have technical insight and enjoy working with your hands
- You are motivated and want to develop yourself in a real profession
- You enjoy working in a team and learning from experienced colleagues
What do we offer?
- Salary according to the collective labour agreement of between €2400-€2600 and a good balance between working and learning.
- A recognised BBL training course (4 days of work, 1 day of school in Zwolle or Deventer)
