What are you going to do?
As an (All-round) Mechanic, you will play a key role in our client's assembly team. You will be responsible for the construction, installation and service of custom-made machines and systems. This means working on advanced technologies ranging from mechanical and hydraulic to electrical and pneumatic components. What makes your working day so varied? It could look like this:
- You assemble and build complex machines and installations in the workshop.
- You work closely with engineers and fellow mechanics to monitor the progress of projects.
- You perform service and maintenance work both in-house and on-site at customers' premises (about 20% of your time).
- You provide customers with telephone support on technical issues.
- You keep the production manager informed of the status of your projects.
- In short, a versatile and responsible position in which no two days are the same!
Who are you?
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and solution-oriented technician who is not afraid to get his hands dirty. With your experience and mentality, you will be a valuable addition to the team. Do you recognise yourself in the following profile?
- You have a completed technical education at MBO-4 level.
- You have at least 3-5 years' experience as an (all-round) mechanic in mechanical engineering, preferably in a project-based environment.
- You can work independently and are a real team player at the same time.
- You are flexible and enjoy visiting customers from time to time.
- You have strong communication skills and speak English as well as Dutch. German is an advantage.
- You think in solutions, take initiative and feel responsible for your work.
